About Gallivant
Gallivant is a travel and tourism platform that enables its customers to create and plan a multi-destination trip they like to visit. They can design their destination sequence as they like by adding locations to the trip itinerary and can share the designed trip with their relatives, friends and potential companions. The viewers also have permission to update the trip.
The customer can even take trip suggestions from the existing platform subscribers, and other defined categories as well, but it is only possible when the user is a subscriber too. An easy payment system fastens the entire subscription process, follows the existing users and plans their trips in a much more organized manner.

Identifying the Client Needs
People often go through an exhausting process of planning their multi-destination trips along with travel and accommodation management. Instead of experiencing relaxing and rejuvenating holidays, people have to go through numerous hassles in managing their trips. Therefore, to avoid such in-trip hassles, team Gallivant planned to propose a platform that allows its users to plan their trips in a much-needed convenient environment.
The platform minimizes all these hassles and guides customers to plan their trips in a much-organized way while having suggestions from their fellow companions as well.
Our Approach & Solutions
As they figured out the issue, what most travellers have to go through before and during the trip, they decide to introduce a one-stop solution for all these issues. For that, our client planned to build an instant travel planning application that should be equipped with the following goals;
- Find the ‘n’ number of destinations en route to their final journey
- Subscribe to the platform and follow other trip-planners
- Share their trip details and experience that help others to make the right decision
- Make an advance booking for hotels, restaurants and flights
- Share planned trips to friends and family

High Fidelity Prototype
After gaining approval over the basic wireframe design, our designers presented their best efforts by delivering a highly interactive, well-organized and appealing high-fidelity prototype. The designers integrated various features in the design, such as transitions, micro-interactions, typography, colors, animations, etc.
Development
Once we got the client’s satisfaction with the hi-fi prototype, our team focused on developing the high-quality codes to deploy the best working version of the Gallivant platform. Our developers cordially integrated the relevant features of both the stakeholders i.e. User/subscribers and the Admin Panel. The major features and functionalities are listed below for both stakeholders.
Sign Up/Log In
The user can sign up/log in with an email id and password, and email verification for the first-time user.
Create Trip
The user can create/read/update/delete the trip or any destination from the created trip.
Add Trip Itinerary
The user can avail of air travel, accommodation and food booking services, if required in advance.
Search Locations
The user can directly search locations with details on the integrated google map.
Share Trip
The user can share the trip with friends and family to let them view and edit the trip.
Subscription
The user has to purchase the subscription to share the trip with others.
Publish Trip
The user can publish the entire trip to make it accessible to all subscribers.
Manage Profile
The user can add or remove the member’s permission to access the trip details.
Payment
The user can make payment from any of the available online modes to purchase the subscription and plan the trip.
Sign Up/Log In
The admin can sign up/log in with an email id and password.
Manage Profile
Admin can manage their profile and can update password, when required.
Manage Users
Admin can activate/deactivate the user’s profile.
Manage Trip
The admin can view, delete, activate/deactivate the planned and successful trips.
Manage Subscription
The admin can track all the subscriber’s detail and can delete profiles as well.
CMS
Admin manages and updates the platform’s T&C, privacy policies, FAQs, and other required details.
